After several short-term mission trips to Romania in early 2000, we made the decision to sell most of our belongings and move to Romania with our 3 teenagers.
We settled into Arad, RO, and thus began working with a ministry partner to start the first community based radio station run by Christians that targeted those outside the church walls. In November 2014, JOY FM was launched and has grown beyond all our dreams and expectations!
Since then, it has seen the influence of its message of hope grow within the community of Arad, Romania, and beyond. In addition, the station has expanded into Moldova with 7 stations covering nearly 75% of the country!

The work of training people to do relational media has grown beyond all our early dreams. It now spreads from Arad, RO, to Moldova and beyond. We are doing all we can with the people and resources we have. Perhaps God sent you to this site so you can join in the work and help us enter new villages, cities and corners of Eastern Europe.
